Celebrating International Women's Day 2021

Today We are Celebrating International Women's day. Personally I feel this couldn't have come at a better time. I'm going to do something I don't usually like to do and that's blow my own trumpet. Please stick with me, my first blog won't be all about me. I promise haha

So lets jump back To November 2020. In the Middle of a Pandemic, I was working in Social Care. Supporting Young Carers and Their Families. I'd grown up in that role and Felt it was my Calling in Life. To Make other people happy. It sounds stupid to even say but I truly hadn't even thought about what made me happy or believe it was possible to achieve that. I loved making a difference in others lives but slowly my own mental health started to suffer. That's when I decided I needed to make a change, put myself and my dreams first! Exciting but scary as hell especially during a Pandemic Right?!!

It was time to start taking a bit of my own advice regard manifestation, put my big girl pants on and step into my power as a strong independent woman.

So yeah I quit my job and jumped head first into what made ME happy and that's the thing ladies (and gentlemen of course). We are allowed to do that. To put ourselves first. To dream big, to shine our light and be ALL that we are.

It hasn't been Peaches and Cream, believe me but I'm honestly the happiest I have been in a long time and I believe it's because I have put my happiness first. I am a MASSIVE worrier. I deal with my own mental health issues and put my dreams off for years because of this. So if anything this blog is a little note to say. YOU can follow your dreams too!

So the theme of this Years International Women's day is Choose to Challenge. A challenged World is an alert World. Individually, we're all responsible for our own thoughts and actions - all day every day. We can all choose to challenge and call out gender bias and inequality. We can all choose to seek out and Celebrate Women's achievements. Yes that means our own too. Collectively we can all help create an inclusive World. From Challenge comes change, so lets choose to challenge. So, hand up high to show you're in.

We have recently Collaborated with Another Business that is also Owned and Run by a Woman. The Geek Side posts regular Blogs and we are lucky enough to be featured this Week for International Women's day. Why don't you check it out Here. She Offers Amazing products from Disney to Harry Potter and we really think the Witchy in Kate's Krystals made a perfect Combo with the Wizardry in The Geek Side. Such a perfect Collab has left us both feeling Empowered and that's what it is about right? Empowering each other!

One thing I feel very passionate about. Is that We ALL should have a voice. No matter what gender we may be. Unfortunately our culture doesn't always leave space for men to express inner struggle. For men in particular, who've been told all their lives to "man up" and " be strong" talking to someone about their issues can seem to go against cultural expectations and be a struggle. I challenge to make a small change. I am just one person trying to make a difference but if everyone did the same, what a difference that could make. At Kate's Krystals we are open to everyone. No matter of gender. I do believe that working with Crystals can have a major benefit on ones life. So if you choose to go down the exciting path of Crystal healing. We are here for you. My hand is up high to show I am in. I Challenge to make a change. Who else is in?
